INTERFACE WITH UNITED WAY
The Denton County Community Navigators, program spearheaded by the Denton County United Way and the Denton County Behavioral Health Team connect Veterans and VeteranFamilies in need with services they can use to emerge from crisis.
SUPPORT TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS
There are many organizations within government and NGO's dedicated to supporting Veterans and their families. The DCVC assists to improve communications between Vets and these Organizations
THE HOMELESS
Homelessness is a problem in Denton County. We believe no Vet should be homeless.
DCVC HELPS
Through our volunteers, we meet with homeless vets in the area. We provide HOMELESS VETERANS with information and encourage them to seek assistance to get off the streets and into living arrangements.
EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
When a Veteran or VeteranFamily find themselves in need of emergency assistance, the DCVC stands ready to help. Whether your need is food, help with utilities, rent or other financial needs, CONTACT US.
